“When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own, but speak these things as the Father instructed me. And the one who sent me is with me; he had not left me alone, for I always do what is pleasing to him.”
Jesus, Lord, you who reveals to us both the real heart of God and the true purpose of our lives, grant that in following after you, in dying to self and rising to the life that is in you alone, that we might:
*Do nothing on our own, but only as the Father instructs.
*Say nothing on our own, but only as the Father has shown.
*Trust that You are with us and never leave us alone.
*Always do what pleases you.
In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
